Coaching for Parents of Troubled Adolescents – Family Coaching
By Craig Rogers TroubledTeenSearch is one of the originators of the parent coaching profession. TroubledTeenSearch has been coaching parents for 10 years, setting our vision on creating the highest standards for parent coaching professionals. Through our innovative family coaching approach we are known to partner with parents and bring full restoration, hope, and stability to hurting families. An important part of our mission is to intentionally to promote effective, evidence-based strategies. There are many “parent coaching” theories out there. Our goal is to promote the strategies that work. We exist to serve parents and families so they can positively impact their children in ways that count. Our goal is to positively affect “parenting” by promoting parent coaches that help parents to make positive parental decisions and restore the home environment. In our increasingly complex society, parents have more challenges than ever and its not going to get any easier soon. Therefore, family support must shift dramatically. Parents need information, advice, and coaching to adequately address issues facing families today. In addition to promoting parent coaches throughout the country we highly advice that parents seek those certified by Parent Coaching Institutes. PCI offers parent coaching services to moms and dads directly and through agencies, schools, and businesses. The PCI conducts on-going research studies with family support agencies. As a dynamic institute, PCI students and graduates gather regularly for retreats, workshops, and meetings to share ideas and co-create new projects, synergistically bringing the PCI Vision into reality.
