Apparently, my son was picking up after himself, saying “please” and “thank you” and obeyed rather well too.This made me think about how sometimes in raising our children we may raise them constantly in godly ways and never see the result, but we don’t give and pour into others to receive a better result coming our way. We give so that they might see God’s goodness and give back to others around them without looking for something in return.The troubled teen industry can be very similar. As parents, we need to look into help for our troubled youth not expecting them to be “fixed”.
