Therapeutic Treatment for Troubled Girls

Parents too often delay therapeutic treatment for troubled girls with the hope that the problem will go away. TT provides parents with information on the importance and benefits of finding swift treatments for struggling girls. When a child is sick, parents typically rush them to the doctor in hope of getting them better; yet parents are often reluctant to get help when their child’s behavior seems to reflect some psychiatric and mental instability.

The same way that a person physically can get sick, a person can also get sick mentally and both requires treatment. A residential treatment center that serves troubled girls who are struggling to recover from certain behavioral, mental, and trauma issues. Getting therapeutic treatment for a child by no mean implies that a parent is incapable, rather it shows bravery in shaking off the stigma associated with sending a child away.

  • Difficulty dealing with divorce or relocating
  • Signs of alcohol, drug, or other substance use (such as solvents or prescription drug abuse)
  • Severe depression and mood swings
  • Severe drop in school grades, school absenteism
  • Decreased interest in previously enjoyed activities
  • Overly aggressive behavior, bullying others
  • Sudden changes in appetite (particularly in adolescents)
  • Insomnia or increased sleepiness
  • Social withdrawal or isolation being the victim of bullying
  • Learning or attention problems (such as ADHD)
  • Anger issues
  • Getting out of control
